The United manager has won just twice in 15 matches against Mourinho, who has had success with Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

He has been defeated six times, and there have been seven draws. Here are some of the rivals’ most memorable encounters...

"slow news day - stichezom.cfc , Mitcham" - Aww bless, the European Champions made the worst defence of the title since Feyenoord and they're throwing a paddy! Go and talk about the battle for fourth elsewhere, leave the European Cup to the masters, there's a good boy.

"David de Gea kept his side in it...." . Wow! A positive comment on De Gea from the DM. What next? An article on why Suarez is world class? Or even an article about how Joe Hart is having a poor season? No, I guess that would be too much to ask.....
